Which languages do you work with?
French, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Greek. Please ask us to confirm your required language combination.
How do you charge for your services?
Our translation fees are calculated per 100 words. Rates vary depending on the language combination. Please call or email us for the current rate applicable to your requirements. Our complete tariff sheet is also available on request. You can also send us your documents for a firm, all-inclusive, no-obligation quotation for the entire project.
Are quotations free of charge?
Yes. European Language Services provides free, no-obligation quotations. Simply email us your document, specifying the language or languages required, and we’ll provide a firm, all-inclusive quotation for your translation project.
Will my documents be treated as confidential?
We take confidentiality and security issues very seriously. Every single document we receive from our clients is treated as confidential as a matter of company policy. However, if you feel that you have special requirements in this area, we will be more than happy to sign a legally binding non-disclosure agreement (available from our offices).
How long will it take to translate my documents?
We generally translate approximately 2,000 words per working day, depending on the type and complexity of the text. Actual delivery times also depend on the document layout, research requirements and language combination. Please let us know your deadline when requesting a quotation.
Do you offer interpreting services?
No. We specialise in written translation services.
Do you offer telephone interpreting services?
No.
Do you offer voice-over or dubbing services?
No.
Do you offer language courses or tuition?
No.
Do you sell dictionaries, CDs, software or language courses?
No.
Do you translate personal documents?
European Language Services primarily specialises in corporate and professional translation services. However, requests for the translation of personal documents may be considered, subject to availability and the nature of the documents.

Do you offer sworn translations?
No. A company-certified translation is distinct from a sworn translation or individual translator accreditation. Always confirm official acceptance requirements with the receiving authority.
Do you translate African, Afro-Asiatic or Oriental languages?
No. We offer translation services in European languages.
